Middle Barton School

Middle Barton School is based in the heart of the countryside in north Oxfordshire. When they contacted us with an interest in installing solar, the school already had a great track record of environmental consciousness, having CO₂ achieved the Eco-Schools silver status.

Unfortunately the project was constrained by the amount of available, suitable roof space and we were only able to install 40 solar panels – but thsi is enough to make a significant contribution towards their energy needs, reducing their annual costs.

With over 100 pupils, the project will also play an important role in raising the profile of renewable energy, and the value this will play increasingly in the lives of younger generations.
