Helping South Oxford cut carbon and live more sustainably, from swap shops to Carbon Conversations

LCSO is a community group that helps South Oxford residents, groups and organisations reduce their carbon footprint, raise awareness of environmental issues and move towards more sustainable ways of living and working.

Since 2011, the group has set up a car club, a weekly Farmers’ and Community Market, and regular swap shops.

It has a committee and sub-groups focusing on sustainable transport, creative with waste, the Farmers’ and Community Market and community renewable energy.

It also has a strong partnership with Hogacre Common, a local eco-park and nature reserve..
