Calling West Oxfordshire SMEs: free training starting next week

Our Community Action Plan for Zero-Carbon Energy (CAPZero) outlines the crucial role businesses need to play in the journey to net zero carbon emissions in 2050.  To make the transition to net zero possible, 20% of businesses need to develop an energy strategy by 2030.

A great starting place for businesses of any size is to download Energy Solutions Oxfordshire’s free Workplace Energy Efficiency Checklist.

About CAPZero

The Community Action Plan for Zero-Carbon Energy is a ground-breaking project running in 8 parishes in West Oxfordshire.  Thanks to match funding through a three-year Service Level Agreement with WODC, Low Carbon Hub is supporting the implementation of the plan, working with residents, businesses, schools and local authorities in the area to take action to reach net zero carbon emissions in 2050.  Find out more about the CAPZero here.

Businesses have a key role to play

To reach net zero, businesses and organisations in the CAPZero area have a key role to play.

To meet our net zero targets by 2050, businesses need to develop an energy strategy and be implementing measures that will reduce their carbon emissions quickly. By 2030 we need 70% of large businesses to have largely completed their transition to zero carbon energy.
