Smart Energy Systems Trial Manager
Jack Irwin is the Energy Systems Trial Manager for Low Carbon Hub.
He has 6 years of experience in Energy. Jack has an MSc in Energy Storage and its Applications as part of the University of Southampton, he also has a MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Exeter.
Jack is an inventor on a patent and was part of the Bennamann team that designed the first Biomethane fuel tank for HGV’s which is now in New Holland tractors.
Jack has an entrepreneurial spirit and is energised by working in small organisations in the low carbon space, particularly at a local level. Jack wants to work at the cutting edge of energy innovation to unlock new technologies and business models to address the climate emergency.
In Jack’s spare time, he likes to play golf and squash and go on long family walks.
