Take Norbar Torque Tools, a leading manufacturer based in Banbury. They’ve partnered with us not once, but three times – resulting in a total of 1 MW of rooftop solar PV installed across their site.
The result? Clean, reliable, discounted electricity for their operations – and funding for wider community benefit. Thanks to Norbar, and other businesses and schools like them, we have been able to invest more into our community impact programme. This means more energy-saving advice, support for communities and innovation work to progress towards the zero carbon energy system we need.
As of last year, we had invested £1million of the profit from our renewable energy projects into community benefit. That’s a lot of impact being funded.
