Free solar panels for community project in Oxfordshire

Oxford City Council are offering free solar panels to a local community project

Oxford City Council have 42 solar panels (350 watts) and an inverter which they are now no longer able to use. They’re hoping to find a new home for them and so are looking for a local community project which could make use of the panels – free of charge. They’re still in full working order and are just three years old.

The project needs to be located in Oxfordshire and be part of a socially-motivated mission which will create positive impact for a local community. Ideally, you’ll also be able to arrange transportation for the panels on two pallets, from their current location in east Oxford.

If you have a project you feel fits this brief and could use the solar panels, please fill in the submission form by Friday 23rd April. We’ll then aim to select a suitable project and will be in touch soon after.

We’re looking forward to seeing all the exciting projects that these solar panels could provide benefit to, and we wish you the best of luck!
