Watlington Climate Action Group formed in April 2019 from a vibrant group of residents. They have a great motto; Think Global, Act Local.

The group aims to help Watlington become carbon neutral by 2030 by engaging with the community to raise awareness and take action. They have many members who work in the environment sector and hold regular events and monthly meetings.

Their consultation with the community has resulted in 4 main projects:

• The Green Plan
• The Hedgerow Project
• Homes and Energy
• Plastic Free Watlington

They actively promote Cosy Homes Oxfordshire and work closely with South Oxfordshire District Council to achieve a carbon neutral district by 2030.
