Watlington Climate Action Group

Watlington Climate Action Group is a community group with a clear ambition: to help Watlington become carbon neutral by 2030. Their motto: Think Global, Act Local – sums up their approach.

The group engages with the community to raise awareness and take action, drawing on members with experience in the environment sector and holding regular events and monthly meetings. Community consultation has shaped four main projects: the Green Plan, the Hedgerow Project, Homes and Energy, and Plastic Free Watlington.

They actively promote Cosy Homes Oxfordshire and work closely with South Oxfordshire District Council towards a carbon-neutral district by 2030.
