Watlington Climate Action Group

Helping Watlington become carbon neutral

The group’s motto, “Think global, act local”, sums up its approach. It raises awareness and encourages local action, drawing on members with experience in the environment sector. It holds regular events and monthly meetings.

Community consultation shaped its four main projects: the Green Plan, the Hedgerow Project, Homes and Energy, and Plastic Free Watlington. The group also works closely with South Oxfordshire District Council towards a carbon-neutral district by 2030.
