Kidlington Eco Group
Kidlington Eco Group (KEG) is a network of ecologically minded organisations, church groups and individuals, working together towards a greener community in Kidlington.
Kidlington, which became a town in February 2026, has a housing stock ranging from 17th-century homes in a conservation area to 1920s garden city houses and modern new-build estates – making energy efficiency advice particularly valuable across such a varied range of properties.

A key aim of the group is raising awareness of energy efficiency, supporting local people with practical advice on saving energy and reducing fuel bills. They do this through their annual No Waste Noel event at Exeter Hall, organised with Cherwell Collective and supported by Low Carbon Hub’s Energy Champions and the Cosy Homes Oxfordshire team.
KEG is also training a team of Draughtbusters – volunteers who carry out simple energy efficiency measures in people’s homes – funded through a Low Carbon Hub small grant and support from the parish council.
