Come along to learn how Low Carbon Oxford North has engaged residents on energy efficiency and home retrofit through their innovative Housewarming Programme.
They’ll share practical insights on how they set up and run the programme, what makes it work, and what pitfalls to watch out for. This session is ideal for community groups and anyone interested in supporting local climate action through home energy improvements.
Engaging people on home energy efficiency can be challenging. Low Carbon Oxford North have developed an approach to make the process feel manageable and supportive. Through encouraging questions, offering clear answers based on expert advice in the Housewarming Guides, they are supporting people to take those crucial first steps toward a more efficient, comfortable, and planet-friendly home.

We will also be joined by Dale Hoyland, Oxfordshire Retrofit Team Lead at Oxforshire County Council who will share information about the current grant funding available to support homeowners.
