Low Carbon South Oxford

Low Carbon South Oxford (LCSO) is a community group helping South Oxford residents, groups and organisations reduce their carbon footprint, raise awareness of environmental issues and move towards more sustainable ways of living and working.

Since 2011 the group has set up a Car Club and a weekly Farmers’ and Community Market, and regular Swap Shops.

They have a committee and sub-groups focusing on Sustainable Transport, Creative with Waste, Farmers’ and Community Market and Community Renewable Energy.

They also have a strong partnership with Hogacre Common, a wonderful local eco-park and nature reserve.
