Low CarboN East Oxford
Low Carbon East Oxford (LCEO) is a grassroots community group made up of east Oxford residents working together to reduce the area’s carbon emissions.

The group takes a practical, action-focused approach – bringing people together to take small but meaningful climate-positive steps and helping others do the same. Past and current projects include thermal imaging to reduce home energy use, improving insulation and draught-proofing, promoting safe cycling, reducing air pollution, encouraging local and seasonal food, and increasing tree cover across east Oxford.
LCEO has produced bite-sized films and house-warming guides to share money-saving ideas with the wider community, and is always looking for more people to get involved.
