ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 2025/26
“Fifteen years, 50 low-carbon community groups, 50+ clean energy assets and thirty years of secured community benefit: it’s a great start!”
Read our latest Annual Report to find out more about our impact in 2025/26 – and take a look back at the last fifteen years of community energy at Low Carbon Hub.

Highlights from the past year include:
- Energy Solutions Oxfordshire (ESOx) – continues to support SMEs to reduce energy demand, cut bills and improve resilience. The re-launched Green Fund is having significant impact, helping organisations fund energy-saving measures and unlock match funding.
- Make Botley West Fair – we launched our first ever petition in April 2025, calling for a fair share of revenue from one of the UK’s largest proposed solar developments to be invested in local communities.
- Community Energy Insights – our new webinar series is bringing together experts to explore the role community energy can play in the energy transition.
- Community Grants Fund – continues to provide funding to our community group network members, supporting carbonsaving activity in neighbourhoods across Oxfordshire.
- Ray Valley Solar battery – this year we announced plans to install the UK’s first community-owned, co-located solar battery at Ray Valley Solar, launching a new community share offer in March 2026 to fund this landmark project.
