21st Century thame
21st Century Thame is a community-led partnership based in Thame working to help the town thrive socially, economically, and environmentally.
The group’s approach is community-driven: ideas come from local people, and projects are delivered through collaboration. They run an extensive list of annual projects, events and campaigns for all members of the community in the Thame & Chinnor area.
Set up in 2003, following a Market Town Health Check, the group has grown from strength to strength, often bringing local people, businesses and council members together to achieve shared goals.
A growing part of 21st Century Thame’s activity is helping residents understand and reduce their energy use while supporting the transition to cleaner energy in the town.
They support local sustainability projects and collaborate with local organisations, councils, and sustainability groups, helping to expand opportunities for energy-related projects and environmental improvements in Thame.
