Invest in our clean energy future

Our Community Energy Fund remains open for investment, raising vital funds to develop more community-owned renewable energy projects across Oxfordshire. We’ve just published an updated Share Offer Document, now including the latest figures from our Annual Report and Accounts. You can read it here.

Recent progress

Since re-launching the Fund as an open offer in 2024, we’ve raised over £690,000 in new investment. A huge thank you to everyone who’s chosen to put their money to work supporting local renewable energy projects.

Your investment has already helped to install solar panels at Sandford Hydro, creating even more clean energy at the site. You have also helped fund an extension to the solar array at Norbar, making it our first 1 MW roof!

With your continued support, we can fund our next wave of projects including battery storage at Ray Valley Solar and a growing pipeline of rooftop and ground mount solar projects.

Rewarded for your support

Last year alone we paid out just under half a million pounds in interest to our investors, many of whom choose to reinvest time and time again. There are many reasons why people choose to support our work, from the desire to take action on climate change, wanting to support green energy to wanting their money to have a real impact.

As a Low Carbon Hub investor for several years I am impressed by their track record, credibility and integrity. They offer a good (and realistic) return on my savings.

Being an investor with Low Carbon Hub means you:

  • Receive a target interest rate of 5% on your investment
  • Help fund more clean energy projects, including rooftop and ground mount solar, energy storage
  • Help bring more projects into community ownership.

Capital at risk; returns not guaranteed.
